Dan Lee: Canadian Animator

Dan Lee


Dan Lee was born on May 19, 1969 and was a Canadian animator. He was best known as the creator of the title character from Finding Nemo. He graduated with honours from the animation program at Sheridan Collage. He was born in Montreal, Quebec. He worked on television cartoons and commercials for several years, including Kennedy Cartoons and Colossal Pictures before joining Pixar in June 1996. His filmography includes A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Lifted and Ratatouille. After Dan Lee died at the age of 35 from lung cancer in 2005, Ratatouille was dedicated to him.
